Of all Godzilla films, this features the most laughably bad English dub, with the actors sounding like they're reading from a stuttering autocue, pausing mid-sentence while the next tranche of text loads up. The editing is also hysterical: one sequence is shot so as to appear to depict two men standing on opposite sides of a door, both ringing doorbells and peering through the glass at each other. At least the monster scenes are suitably rough and tumble and Mechagodzilla a convincing weapon of terror, though newcomer Titanosaurus is (almost literally) a fish out of water, and swiftly thrown back.
